Description
The Black Horse Public House is a Grade II listed building that was originally a dwelling. It features a rendered exterior, possibly over a timber frame or mud, and has a thatched roof. The structure is 1½ storeys high and has a three-unit plan. The left-hand bay slightly projects and contains a 2-light casement window on each floor, with the first-floor window having been renewed. There is a doorway at the angle of the main range, followed by two 2-light casement windows that have chambered brick heads, and an additional doorway to the right. The right-hand angle of the building is constructed on a curve, and there are no upper windows in this section.
