Description

Dovecote, dating from the late 17th century, located at the Manor House. The dovecote is constructed of diapered red brick with a Swithland slate hipped roof, featuring a central louver and skylight. A brick band runs around the structure. It is two storeys high, and includes a doorway with a cambered lintel. On the left side are a blocked door, a two-light window, and a louver opening. The interior contains rows of holes on all four sides, providing perches for the birds, which are supported by nogged brickes.
