Description
Limes Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th to 18th century, constructed of red brick with a Welsh slate roof featuring brick ridges and three stacks on the left end. The gable faces the front, which is oriented to the right. The building has two storeys and includes six 20th-century, nine-pane top-opening windows. Below these, there are four wide, two-light 20th-century casements and two doors located beneath the second and fifth first-floor windows. A two-light casement is present on the facing gable at the first floor. The entrance door is also from the 20th century, and there is a large one-storey extension at the rear. Inside, notable features include an inglenook with a hood and draw steps, additional inglework, a chamfered stopped beam, and a staircase dating to around 1700. The farmhouse is included for its group value.
