Description

Charlotte Cottage is a house from the early 18th century, built of brick on a rubble plinth with a plain tiled roof. The facade is symmetrically arranged around a central doorway that features a six-panelled door in a moulded wood case. On either side of the door, there are two 2-light windows and one outer 3-light window, all of which are horizontally sliding sashes. The four upper windows are 4-light sashes, and all windows have flat arched brick heads. There is a blocked upper central window, and a moulded brick eaves cornice runs along the top. A stack is located at the rear and on the right-hand gable. A lower rear wing appears to be contemporary with the main structure.
