Description

This bus shelter, originally a pump house, dates from around 1870 and has undergone later repairs. It is constructed of red brick on a stone plinth and features a hipped roof covered in fishscale tiles, topped with a crested ridge tile. The structure is single storey, single bay, and octagonal in shape. The front has three open sides supported by two fluted iron columns, while the back consists of a brick wall with stone copings at dado height and painted brick panels above, framed in timber surrounds.
