Description
Lodge House is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on the south side of Chesterfield Road in the parish of Calow. It is constructed from coursed sandstone and features a slate hipped roof, along with two brick stacks at the eaves. The building stands two storeys high and has a north elevation consisting of three bays. The central doorway is framed by a flush stone surround that includes a projecting keystone and imposts. The door itself is a six-panelled design, raised and fielded, and is topped by a semi-circular fanlight. On either side of the doorway are glazing bar sash windows, with three similar windows located above on the upper storey. The rear elevation has been altered with 20th-century windows.
