Description

This is a former threshing barn dating from the 17th or early 18th century, situated to the north-east of Plover Hill Farmhouse. The barn has a corrugated iron roof with coped gable ends featuring stone kneelers. It comprises five bays, notable for its massive timber trusses incorporating tie beams, a ridge beam, collar, and braces. The roof structure is a butt-purlin design, and the barn retains a wooden threshing floor.
