Description
Cedars Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse with a small mid-19th-century extension. It is constructed of red brick with brick dressings and features a plain tile roof with brick gable stacks, one of which is external to the west. The building has a sawtooth eaves band and is designed in a double range plan, consisting of three bays and two storeys.
The main elevation showcases a central doorcase that is plain and pilastered, topped with a moulded cornice. The entrance features a raised and fielded panelled door with a divided overlight. Flanking the door are glazing bar sash windows set beneath flat arches, with three similar windows above, the one over the door being slightly narrower than the others.
At the rear, the farmhouse has an irregular arrangement of segment-headed windows in the 18th-century part, while the smaller mid-19th-century extension has plain sash windows under flat brick arches.
