Description
Upper Hallfields Farmhouse is a mid-17th century farmhouse constructed from coursed rubblestone with gritstone dressings. It features a tiled roof with stone coped gables, which have kneelers and ball finials. The farmhouse has 20th-century brick gable end stacks and stands two storeys tall. There is an off-centre gabled porch with ball finials, which was originally located at the west end but was rebuilt in its current position in 1974. The porch has a modern glazed door. The building includes three-light chamfered mullioned windows with horizontal dripstones, with one window to the right of the porch and two to the left. There are three similar windows above, along with one blocked single light window on the left side of the first floor. Additionally, there is a single storey west wing where all the windows have been renewed in the 20th century.
