Description
Bridge House is an early 17th century building with 18th century additions and alterations, located at 1390 Lea Road in Cromford. It is constructed of stone and features two storeys with attics. The façade includes plain two-light mullioned windows, which are fitted with 18th century casements. The left wing has two blocked entrances, one of which has a four-centred arch. There is one gabled dormer with a mullioned light. The advanced wing on the right side has two gables and four 18th century sash windows. The building retains its original stone stacks and tiles, and all gables are topped with ball-head finials.
