Description

The Fishing Pavilion on Mill Road in Cromford is an early 18th-century building constructed from ashlar. It is a small, square, two-storey structure featuring two restored sash windows set within moulded architraves. The entrance also has a moulded architrave with a slight cornice and bears the engraved inscription 'Piscatoribus sacrum'. The building has coved stone eaves and a conical roof covered with old stone tiles. It has been recently restored and is noted for being a near-replica of the more famous fishing pavilion of Walton and Cotton in Beresford Dale.
