Description

No 6, known as W H Smith, is a late 18th century to early 19th century building located on the south-east side of St Johns Street. It is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof. The building is three storeys tall, slightly higher than the adjacent bank building. It has three unbarred sash windows with painted panelled lintels that include keyblocks. The brick eaves are adorned with projecting headers. The shop front has been modernized. No 2 and Nos 6 to 44 (even) form a group.
