Description

The house adjoining number 52 on St John's Street features a facade from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a slate roof. The building includes a stucco plinth and parapet, as well as a string course at the first-floor sill height. It is two storeys tall and has three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars. The entrance has a round-headed doorway, and there is an elliptical arch leading to a rear carriageway. This house is listed for its group value with the adjacent properties. Together, numbers 50 to 58 (even) and the house adjoining number 52 form a cohesive architectural group.
