Description
The Old King's Head Public House is an early 18th century inn, with parts that may date back even earlier, and features later 18th century rear wings. The original southern section is constructed of coursed stone, complete with kneelers and coped gable ends, and has end and off-centre chimneys. The building has two storeys and four windows, which are casements with stone mullions and plain painted band-surrounds. There is an off-centre door that is framed by large painted quoins. The western wing has two windows, which are sashes with glazing bars and painted band surrounds. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing to the north made of red brick.
