Description

The western range of farm buildings at Wyver Farm dates from the early 19th century. This structure forms an obtuse angle and is designed to take advantage of the sloping site. The front, or east elevation, is two storeys high and faces the yard, while the west, or rear elevation, is a single storey that faces a higher rear driveway. The building is constructed of coursed stone with a slate roof and features a brick chimney at the rear.

The eastern elevation includes a two-storey range with a small single-storey central section. In total, there are seven windows. At the south end, which adjoins the foldyard range, the corner of the first floor is supported by a pillar, and the ground floor is recessed to provide additional access between the yards. In front of the north side of this elevation, there is a range of pigsties, and a stone dog kennel is incorporated into the ground floor near the corner of the building. The north end and western rear elevation both have doors.
