Description

The houses at 38 to 47 Short Rows are likely the first constructed by the Strutts in Belper, built between 1788 and the early 1790s. These terraced cottages are arranged in pairs, stepping up the hillside. They are made of red brick and feature a slate roof, standing two storeys tall. Each house has one window, although most have modern glazing in the original window spaces.
