Description
The former Methodist Chapel, dated 1816, is a non-conformist chapel located in Hazelwood. It is constructed of coursed rubble gritstone and features coped gables on the north-west range, along with moulded eaves and a plain tiled roof. The building consists of linked parallel ranges, with quoined doorways on the south-west gables. Above the lintel of the north-west range is a raised oval plaque bearing the date. The side walls are adorned with semi-circular headed windows that have gothic glazing bars and central opening lights. Voussoirs are present above the heads of the openings.
