Description
Top Hall Cottages and outbuilding consist of two cottages that were originally a stable block, dating from the 18th century and mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone with quoins and feature a Collyweston slate roof, complete with ashlar stacks at the ends and rear. The stone-coped gables face a yard. The building is 1½ storeys high and has casement windows, arranged from left to right as follows: a 4-light window, a part-glazed door, a 2-light window, another 4-light window, a second part-glazed door, and double doors with a cambered lintel. There are also four 2-light dormers above. An outbuilding extension is located at the right end. This listing is included for its group value.
