Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 25 meters northeast of Glaston House and 50 meters southeast of Thatch Farmhouse, dates from the 17th to early 18th century, with some features possibly reused from the 17th century. It was altered in the late 19th century. The structure is built of coursed limestone rubble with limestone quoins and has a slate roof with coped gables.
The rectangular building includes a loft. The front facing the yard features a central board door set in a 19th-century chamfered stone surround with a depressed arch, and directly above it is a 2-light mullion window. To the right, there is a 17th-century 2-light window with an ovolo-moulded limestone mullion and a board door leading to the loft above. The left corner shows missing quoins, while the right gable has a high 2-light shuttered window with a hollow-chamfered stone mullion.
