Description

No. 4 Main Street is a cottage dating from the mid-17th century. It is built of rubble and ashlar with a thatched roof and has one and a half storeys. The cottage features two eyebrow dormers: one has a small two-light casement above the entrance, while the other, located on the right, has a three-light casement. On the ground floor, there is a three-light casement window with an ashlar lintel and cill. A 19th-century brick entrance porch is present, and to the right, there is a stone mullioned bay window. The cottage has two gable end stacks and one central ashlar stack.
