Description

The barn located to the east of No. 12 Main Street is a Grade II listed structure, dated 1742. It is built from rubble and features a corrugated iron roof. The barn is a single storey and retains a timber lintel from a blocked doorway. There is a tablet inscribed with the name 'John Sprigs 1742', which may refer to a son of John Sprigs, who died in 1741 and is commemorated by a mural tablet in the nearby church.
