Description
The Manor is a house dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and a Collyweston stone slate roof featuring coped gables. It has a stone stack at the west end and two full-length lateral stacks with twin shafts on the north front. The building is two storeys high with attics and has a five-window range on the north front. The entrance is located one bay from the west, within a small porch that has a continuously-moulded arch beneath a cornice. The door, from the 19th century, features gothick glazing bars. The windows are two-light ovolo-moulded mullioned windows, with those on the ground floor also including transoms. There are small gabled dormer windows of three lights beneath cornices. The west end of the house has two blocked windows with cornices above them. Additionally, there is a long single-storey outbuilding to the west.
