Description
Holly Farmhouse is a house that was formerly a farmhouse, built in 1694. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar detailing and has a blue slate roof. The building has two storeys. On the first floor, there are three 2-light casement windows with stone sills. The ground floor features a stone mullioned 3-light casement window on the left and two 2-light casements flanking the entrance. The entrance has a moulded ashlar door surround and the building is accented with ashlar quoins. There is one central ashlar stack at the gable end and a 2-light stone window is located in the left-hand return. A date tablet indicating the year 1694 is set into the left-hand gable, which also has coped gables. There is a narrow addition to the right of the main structure.
