Description

The cottage and stable at Bracknell House, dated 1825, are constructed from coursed rubble stone and ashlar, featuring a plinth, quoins, and stone dressings. The building has a 20th-century tile roof with stone and rendered end stacks and is arranged in a single range. The central section is pedimented and made of ashlar, with double doors and a carved head keystone above a cambered arch. There is a band and a tablet inscribed with the year 1825 above the doors. To the left is the cottage, which has two storeys, two 2-light casements, and a central door with an overlight. To the right is the stable, which features a central door flanked by 12-pane windows. This structure is included for its group value.
