Description

Number 12 is a town house, now used as offices, built around 1850 and converted in the late 20th century. It features red brick construction with stucco dressings and a hipped slate roof that has two side wall stacks. The building has a plinth, quoins, and sill bands on the upper floors. It stands three storeys high and has a three-window range. The windows are plain sashes with projecting surrounds. The central doorway is round-arched and includes a keystone, original panelled door, and fanlight, topped with a flat hood supported by brackets. To the right of the door is a window with a similar hood, and to the left is a canted bay window with a dentillated cornice. Above the doorway, there are three windows with pediments on brackets, and above those, three smaller square windows. The entrance is flanked by two lengths of cast-iron railing that rest on a chamfered ashlar plinth.
