Description
This is a terrace of four houses located at 65 to 71 Foxhall Road, built in 1901 by architect Watson Fothergill for Mr. Willatt. The houses are constructed of red brick, featuring blue brick and ashlar dressings, and topped with plain tile roofs that have two large brick ridge stacks. A first-floor sill band runs along the front. The terrace is two storeys high plus attics and has a four-window range. Most of the windows are original plain sashes. The entrance features half-glazed doors with outer frames and overlights, arranged symmetrically. The higher end bays are topped with crow-stepped gables. In the center, there is a pair of recessed doors beneath a brick segmental arch. Flanking this are pairs of canted bay windows with hipped roofs, followed by single doors with ashlar lintels. Above these, there are four sashes, and in each gable, there is a round-arched opening with a pair of plain sashes. Blue brick diaper work bands are present below the windows.
