Description
No. 16 Clumber Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from around 1800 and was restored around 1990. The building is made of painted brick with ashlar dressings, and while the roof is not visible, it features a second-floor sill band. The structure has four storeys and a three-window range. The ground floor showcases a full-width late 20th-century shopfront. Above this, there are three renewed glazing bar sash windows, with the central window set in a round-arched recess that includes half-pilasters and an ornamented tympanum. Further up, there are three more glazing bar sashes, and above these, three smaller original sashes.
