Description
No. 4 Lincoln Street is a shop built in the late 19th century. It features red brick construction with ashlar dressings and a slate hipped roof. The building has rusticated quoins, particularly decorative on the ground floor, and ornate bracketed eaves. It is three storeys high with a three-window range. The first and second floors have three round-headed plain sashes, each with moulded ashlar surrounds, pilasters, and keystones. Above these, there are three smaller sashes in moulded surrounds. The ground floor retains its original shopfront, which includes a moulded cornice, a recessed central doorway with canted side windows, and tall corner columns, flanked by single plate glass windows.
