Description
The Cottages are a pair of houses that were originally four separate homes, built in the mid-18th century and altered in the mid-19th century. They have been reglazed in the late 20th century. The buildings are constructed of brick with brick dressings and feature a plain tile roof with coped gables and kneelers. There are three brick ridge stacks and dentillated brick eaves. The cottages are two storeys tall with attics and have a three-window range. All windows are plastic framed with imitation glazing bars, set in their original openings, and mostly feature brick flat arches. On the left side, there are three board doors with small overlights, one of which is segment-headed, along with three windows. To the right, there is a similar window that is segment-arched. Above these, there are three small windows, and above again, three even smaller windows that cut through the eaves. The gables have single windows on the upper floors.
