Description

The Church of St Peter is a medieval parish church, primarily dating from around 1335, featuring a nave and chancel with significant restoration. The church was expanded westward in 1961, and the nave aisles are mostly modern. It has a plain Norman west doorway from about 1090, which has had its original characteristics replaced. Inside, there is a monument to Sir Richard Harpur and his wife, dated 1635, as well as a Norman font.
