Description

This is an early 19th century cottage located on Normanton Lane in Littleover. Originally built as a pair of cottages, it has since been combined into a single dwelling. The building is constructed of red brick and is two storeys high. It has two casement windows and a plain doorway with a segmental head and ledged door on the right-hand side. A doorway has been blocked on the left. The roof features modillion eaves and a gabled end facing the road, and it is covered in tiles. The cottage contributes positively to the character of the street.
