Description
The Margaret Street Clinic, also known as The Cliff, is a two-storey, five-bay villa built between 1822 and 1823, featuring four-bay returns. The building has tall proportions and is constructed of red brick with angle pilasters. It includes a stone plinth, a first-floor band, a cornice, and a blocking course. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are adorned with gauged flat brick arches and stone cills, along with apron panels on the first floor. A prostyle porch with three steps leads to the entrance, supported by square outer piers, Ionic inner columns, and topped with a pediment. Inside, there is a graceful wrought iron staircase.
