Description

The boat house, located on the south bank of Half Moon Lake, is likely from the late 18th century and is constructed of dressed stone in a picturesque style. It features a two-centred arched entrance with a dropped keystone, flanked by low square piers that have large projecting coping at the impost band. The roof is vaulted and partly sunk into the banking at the rear. Inside, there is a deep vaulted roof with a dressed rear wall, and water from the lake is present inside.
