House. Dated 1739. Coursed squared rubble with quoins. Stone slate roof. 2-cell end-lobby entrance plan. Two storeys. 2 bays. Doorway to left with inscribed lintel: " C " R R 1739 and incised sundial. Altered or later windows. Brick stack to left gable and to centre of ridge. Additions and altered windows to rear. Remains of a chamfered single light to left return. Interior: stop-chamfered beams. Fireplace to each rood that to left with segmental head and broad chamfered surround. Stair in original position at rear. Splat baluster landing rail. The house is said to have been the home of Robert Carr, father of John Carr the architect.
