Description
No. 1 Tammy Hall Street is a mid-19th century building designed in the Italian palazzo style. It stands three stories tall and features a three by four bay layout. The structure is made of stone with a stucco coating, exhibiting rustication on the ground floor, with rustications forming the window voussoirs and keystones. The roof is fairly low pitched and hipped, covered with stone slates. The building has sash windows with glazing bars, and the first-floor windows are round-arched with an impost string. There are ground and first-floor bands, as well as sunk panels below the windows. A continuous architrave runs along the second floor, which is lowered between the windows.
