Description

Spring Gardens Lock is a lock on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, dating from the late 18th century and altered in the 20th century. It features two sets of timber gates, coursed stone lock walls, a revetment wall, and an overflow channel on the southwest side. A modern steel footbridge is also present.
