Description

Wellington Bridge is a road bridge over the River Aire, built between 1817 and 1819 by engineer John Rennie. It features an elliptical stone arch with an approximate span of 31 meters. The bridge was widened in 1873, and the parapet on each side has been dismantled. A wide modern bridge has been constructed alongside it, almost touching the original structure.
