Description

This is a gas lamp post located in Bay Horse Yard, dating from the mid-19th century and restored around 1980. It is made of cast iron and stands approximately 3 meters high. The base features roll moulding, while the tall fluted shaft tapers to a collar that supports two ladder arms. The lamp, which now has an automatic lighting mechanism, includes a ventilator.
