Description
This is a pair of K6 telephone kiosks, designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. They are made of cast iron and feature a square shape with a domed roof. The top panels display unperforated George VI crowns, and the windows and door have margin glazing. On the rear of the base, there is raised lettering: on the left, it reads 'LION FOUNDRY/ CO LTD/ KIRKINTILLOCK', and on the right, it states 'W. MACFARLANE & CO/ ... FOUNDRY/ GLASGOW'.
