Description
Oakfield is a stable and coach-house built around 1840, which has been converted into a warden's house and administration block for a sheltered housing complex around 1990. The building is constructed of ashlar with a slate hipped roof and stands two storeys high, featuring seven first-floor windows, with the central window set in a recessed bay. There is a segmental carriage arch on the far right, with original stable doorways that have overlights to the left of the carriage arch and below the second window. The original sash windows, which include glazing bars, are alternately blind and all have modern cross frames. The building also has continuous first-floor sill bands. The interior has not been inspected.
