Description
This is a house dating from around 1800, situated on the west side of Whitehall Road in Morley, near Drighlington. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone, painted white to the front, with a stone slate roof. The house has a symmetrical facade of three bays. Rusticated quoins mark the corners. The front door is set within raised monolithic jambs, and above it is a single-light window with a raised plain-stone surround. On each floor, to either side of the doorway, are two-light mullioned windows with raised plain-stone surrounds and projecting sills, which have been altered. Moulded gutter brackets are present, and the coped gables feature brick stacks.
