Description
This is a wharf crane located on the south side of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, dating from around 1845 and restored around 1985. It was repositioned in 1995. The crane is made of cast iron with a wooden jib, a gritstone counterbalance, and sits on a hexagonal plinth.
