Description
The boundary wall and railings to the Church of St George are a mid-19th century structure made of ashlar and wrought iron. The wall is approximately 70 meters long and encloses the ground on the south side of the church. The original sections are on the south and east sides, while the west side features railings set in a brick base. The low wall consists of two courses of ashlar with a moulded coping. The railings have fluted standards with flared finials and rails topped with leaf finials. The wall and railings step up on the east side to accommodate an inserted gateway. This structure is included for its group value.
