Description

A terrace of six houses built around 1860 in Far Headingley, Leeds. The houses are constructed of coursed squared gritstone with slate roofs. They are two storeys high, featuring twelve first-floor windows in total. Each house has a door on the right-hand side, above which is an overlight, and a cornice supported by console brackets. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The first-floor windows above the entrances are slightly narrower than the others; a continuous sill band runs along the first floor, and the windows have plain lintels. Number 4 has a two-leaf vertical shutter on the front ground-floor window. Each property has tall corniced stacks positioned between the houses, both at the front and rear of the roof ridge. The rear of the properties features doors without overlights, sixteen-pane sash windows (with some replacement windows on the far left), and number 4 retains a two-leaf vertical shutter on the front ground-floor window. The interior of the properties has not been inspected.
