Description

The Amiens Column is a monument dated 1810, constructed from stone. It features an octagonal column and base set on a large rough square block. The column has a moulded square capital topped with a ball finial. An inscription on the column includes the words "1810 - Erected to commemorate the short Peace of Amiens."
