Description

The gatepiers to Fernleigh, located on the north side of Dale Street, date from the mid-19th century. There are four piers made of ashlar stone. Each pier has a square base that transitions into an octagonal shape, topped with pyramidal finials. The piers feature blind traceried panelling, and there are quadrant flanking walls adorned with pierced quatrefoils.
