Numbers 17 and 19 on St Helens Gate are 18th century or early 19th century buildings made of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof. They are two storeys high. On the first floor, there is an 8-light stone mullioned window, although three of the lights are blocked. The ground floor features one 3-light stone mullioned window and one fixed window.
