Description

Bankside is a group of 17th century cottages located on Cold Royd Lane. The cottages are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a pitched stone slate roof. They are two storeys high with an irregular plan. The windows vary in design, including four, two, and three-light stone mullioned windows that have stepped reveals and tapering section mullions, with one window also featuring a hoodmould. There is a barn extension to the north, which dates from the 18th or 19th century and includes a segmental arch.
