Description

Nos 175, 177, and 179 Longley are 18th-century buildings, although a house has been recorded on this site as early as 1634 on Senior's Map of Almondbury Parish. The buildings are constructed of hammer-dressed stone and feature a pitched stone slate roof that is hipped at the west end. They are two storeys high, with the first floor displaying five two-light stone-mullioned windows, although the intervening lights have been blocked. The ground floor contains two three-light stone-mullioned windows. There is also a one-storey extension to the east, which includes one two-light stone-mullioned window.
