Description

Nos 53 and 55 Magdale are a handed pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammer dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof. The buildings rise to three storeys. On the south elevation, the ground floor has been altered. Each house has a 6-light stone mullioned window on the first floor and a 3-light window on the second floor. At the rear, there is a later extension with a pitched roof that lacks architectural interest.
